DESCRIPTION
|
Lambda-cyhalothrin is a pyrethroid insecticide used to control a range of pests. It Acts on the nervous system of insects, and disturbs the function of neurons by interaction with the sodium channel.

Mode of action
|
Non-systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action, and repellent properties. Gives rapid knockdown and long residual activity.
|
Applications
It is used for control of bollworms, Jassids and thrips on cotton and leaf folder stem borer, green leaf hopper, gall midge, hispa and thrips on rice.
It is a preferred choice for Cotton & Paddy.
It Provides good control of insect-born plant viruses.
It is also used for control of insect pest in public health.

It is rapidly degraded in soil. Slightly toxic for mallard ducks. No accumulation of residues in eggs o tissues. Highly toxic for bluegill, sunfish, rainbow trout. Very highly toxic for daphnia. Intrinsic toxicity to aquatic organisms is greatly reduced by rapid loss from water by adsorption and degradation. Very highly toxic for bees.it is slightly toxic for warms. Toxic to some non target arthropods. Effects under field conditions reduced, with rapid recovery.
