  • 1. Xpert-Plus is a mixture of benzoylurea and avermectin group of insecticides.
  • 2. It contains two active ingredients, Novaluron and Emamectin benzoate which are effective against different insects.
  • 3. It is used for the control of diamond back moth (dbm) & tobacco caterpillar on Cabbage, gram pod bores & tobacco caterpillar in Chilli, gram pod bores in red gram and stem borer in Rice.
  • 4. It is applied as foliar application and 3 sprays are required at an interval of 10 days depending upon the pests infestation.

DESCRIPTION
Novaluron 5.25 % + Emamectin benzoate 0.9% SC is a combination insecticide containing Novaluron 5.25 % (a.i) and Emamectin benzoate 0.9% (a.i) in the formulation. It is used for the control of diamond back moth (dbm) & tobacco caterpillar on Cabbage, gram pod bores & tobacco caterpillar in Chilli, gram pod bores in red gram and stem borer in Rice.
Mode of action
Novaluron is absorbed mainly by ingestion but shows some contact activity. Emamectin benzoate is non-systemic insecticide which penetrates leaf tissues by translaminar movement. Paralyses the Lepidoptera, which stop feeding within hours of ingestion.
Applications
Novaluron 5.25% and Emamectin benzoate 0.9% is used for the control of diamond back moth (dbm) & tobacco caterpillar on Cabbage, gram pod bores & tobacco caterpillar in Chilli, gram pod bores in red gram and stem borer in Rice.
